Today is L's 4th birthday. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that my oldest daughter is now 4. Is that
possible? I can still remember when my husband was teaching her how to jump when she was 20 months old by feeding her treats like a dog. 4? Seriously??? She's almost ready for
elementary school!!!!!!
I think L had a really good day. Daddy stayed home from work so he could make her strawberry pancakes for breakfast (among other things), then she opened up her gifts from us (a Barbie helmet and a new
Cinderella bicycle), played all morning, had lunch and games at Peter Piper Pizza, napped, played outside on her new bike (and fell off many, many times), got her choice dinner of
corn dogs (yuck!), took a hugely bubbly bath, got her favorite stories, played with dolls with both Mommy and Daddy, and then was off to bed. All in all, I think it was a good day. The only meltdown came when E tried to take toys away from her. :p

Happy 4th birthday, L! I can still remember you being that itty-bitty gorgeous baby of mine. I will always love and take care of you because you are MINE!!!!!!!!!
