College night

Tonight was my first class of the semester at the community college.  All in all, it went well.  I had 14 students show up, we played and chatted, and I played some Mozart at the end.  Not too shabby.  The spring semester seems easier to teach than fall every year, though I always dread coming back for some reason.  Maybe it's just that I've taught the same thing for so long now that I just want a change.  Maybe I just don't want to leave my family in the evenings.  I don't know.  Whatever it is, it just makes me want to do less work and more procrastinating when I actually do have to do the work.  Ugh.

Off to fix my syllabus - one of the students pointed out that my numbers didn't add up.  WHY THE HECK DO I SEND THE SYLLABUS OFF TO TWO OTHER FACULTY MEMBERS TO CHECK IT IF THEY DON'T CATCH THESE MISTAKES?!?!??
