Ugh, I hate having a sick child

L came home from school yesterday sneezing and sniffling, and overnight it turned into a full-blown stuff-up nose, coughing, and general disinterest in eating or doing much of anything.  We've watched a LOT of cartoons today, ate jello and ice cream, read tons of stories, and sang a bunch of made-up songs.  I really hate having any child sick, because they don't deal with it well and I wish I could magically make it go away.  At least she tends to get over things quickly - I'm hoping she'll be 100% by the time school comes back around on Tuesday.  Funny enough, I remember several people telling me that "after she's in school for a month [since she's never been in daycare], she'll be sick all the time!"  Well, it's been a month, folks, and this is the first illness.  Sigh.  I guess better now than when she's in kindergarten, and it's been awhile, but it still sucks!
