Biosphere 2

We had a nice trip up to Catalina/Oracle this morning to see the Biosphere 2 (Biosphere 1 being our planet).  It was a nice drive, the weather was fantastic, it was super interesting (for us, the adults - I think the girls just liked running around), and we had a fun little lunch at the McDonalds in Catalina.  Thanks to a Groupon I got in July, we paid $35 for all of us to go on our (new!) annual membership.  If we had paid at the door when we walked in, it would have been $60!  Great deal, and definitely paid for itself in one visit.  I'm so glad my MIL could come along, as the girls adored hanging off of her, and it was cool to see everything that was inside the structure and learn how it has/does work/worked.

E and L loved playing on the stairs while the tour guide spoke.
