The birthday party yesterday was great. It was just family and we had a great time eating tons of food (the lemon pasta recipe V gave me to make went over super well!), gorging on desserts, watching Ho-Ho open gifts, watching the kids run around playing, got a family picture (thanks, A!), and I especially loved spending time with my nephew S. We spent the night in the nursery - E in the crib, and then the husband, myself, and L on two twin mattresses. Well, it started out that way, but with L tossing and turning so much, I moved out to the couch in the living room. It wasn't too shabby, and when I came in at 5:30am, E was awake (ARGH) and L was curled up next to the husband. HA! We went to dim sum this morning and it was delicious. The drive home didn't go as planned - we had planned the girls to nap but they didn't, so I entertained them most of the way (and fought of car sickness), and then they napped at home. Exhausted, but so glad to be home!
