Running in the rain

How lucky am I to get to run two mornings in a row in the rain?!??  I'm dead serious.  Even when it's cold outside (like the last two mornings), it's great to be out in it.  The rain washes away the sweat on your face, keeps you cooler than you normally would be, and makes the outdoors sound so much more interesting than the normal sounds of the suburbs.  Yesterday, it was pouring rain during my entire run.  Puddles were everywhere, and I was soaked when I came back.  Today, it didn't start raining until I was 1.5 miles into my 5-mile run.  Thanks, Mother Nature!  Ugh.  All in all, good runs, but I was so cold when I got back from both!
