The girls are spending the night with their grandparents, and so the husband and I were free to go to this fancy-schmancy dinner for his company tonight. It was at La Paloma, a very fancy resort here in town, and I'd never been there before. Gorgeous views of the city, absolutely stunning interior, and the dinner itself was quite good. I think there were about 300 people there, and the program they had for the dinner was impressively done. Free alcohol, which I definitely took advantage of! It was nice to meet some of my husband's coworkers too. My favorite part of the evening was just being able to be an adult with other adults and not worry about two little munchkins running around. All in all, it was quite fun!
