Oh, humidity, how I loathe thee...

There is a reason I live in the desert portion of Arizona.  First, it doesn't snow (very VERY rarely it does).  Second, it's so nice in the winter.  Third, it's not humid.  It's not humid until monsoon season, which we are now in the midst of, and IT SUCKS.  I went out for a 5-mile run this morning and it felt like I was running in a wet blanket.  Not only was it 75% humidity (I'm used to, say, 12%), there was a steady sprinkle of rain on me the entire way.  I was soaked by the end of mile 1, covered in mud, dirt, dust, grime, and bugs by the end of mile 2, and out of steam before mile 3.  There was a LOT more walking this morning than I usually do, but at least I did the whole run/walk, right?  Ugh.  Then, the sun came out in the morning, steaming up the entire area and making it miserable.  Luckily, it brought rain in the afternoon, but did we really need almost 1 inch in 30 minutes?!??  The girls went outside and splashed in puddles (while it was still raining), making themselves big happy muddy messes, so we had an early bath.  Lots of humidity in the bathroom.  My hair is HUGE, my body feels weak from the humidity (not the running, I swear!), and have I mentioned that I HATE HUMIDITY????  Yeah.  Yuck.
