The husband got a new keyboard for the downstairs computer (yes, we have multiple computers in the house) yesterday. He pulled it out and it was completely fancy-schmancy.
Me: Wow, that's fancy. Why did you get a new one?
Him: It was on clearance at Target, and I figured it would be smarter to have a washable one with the girls around.
Me: (joking) Ah, yes, it's so nice to finally have a computer keyboard I can just throw in the dishwasher.
Him: Well, sure, if you want a heavy-duty wash.
Me: ...what? Seriously? I was joking!
Him: You can put it in the dishwasher to clean it.
Me: ...
One of these days, you're going to be able to put the entire computer in the dishwasher to get grubby little fingerprints off the monitor. Just...technology. Yeah.
