This morning, we went to the main fire station downtown to meet up with one L's preschool friend's dad (a fireman) and tour the station. We were all enthralled by the trucks, firemen, facility, and just being there in general. My favorite part was watching a fireman slide down the fire pole to his truck. L's favorite part was listening to the chatter on the radio, especially when they radioed a car fire (hence the guy sliding down the pole to his truck). E's favorite part was the firetruck piñata in one of the offices!

| A's helmet. It's HEAVY. He also keeps doorstops (bottom left) and a wood spike (top) to hold open doors and jam automatic sprinklers when at fires. |
