E and I went for a 3-mile run this morning while L was at preschool. We always stop by the horse ranch just north of here to see the horses, but they usually just stare at us from afar and go about their business of eating, standing around, peeing, pooping, and occasionally running around. Today, though, our favorite horse "Ernie" (the girls named the horses, not me) came over to say hi to E. She was beyond thrilled. S/he was so calm and friendly. I wish the horses would do this every time we stopped by! Definitely worth the stop.
