Busy days

After we dropped L off at preschool this morning, it felt like E and I lived in the car for the next 4 hours.  We went to the college so that I could pick up copies of my syllabus, homework assignments for the next few weeks, and other odds and ends, checked the bookstore for copies of my textbook, and played in some oversized chairs in the student lounge area.  Then, off to the Children's Museum to play with the sand table, go to storytime (yay play dough!), and roll balls down the roller coaster thingie someone had built.  Then drive back to our side of town for lunch at McDonald's, which involved very little eating on E's part and lots more playing in the play place.  Then, we got lunch for L, drove to preschool, picked her up, drove home, and sat L and E down to actually eat their food.  Trotted them off for their naps and they barely slept.  Here I am, exhausted, wanting to nap, and neither of them slept for more than 60 minutes.  ARGH.  So, needless to say, I'm ready for bed right now.  With work starting up again on Thursday, I need my rest!
