It was so nice to be able to wake up in my own bed for Thanksgiving. Usually, we're either in Ohio with my parents or in Tempe with the husband's family. Either way, I'm usually cranky and just wishing for the day to be over. Thankfully, this year it was
not the case! I went for a run at dawn, pulled together the green bean casserole, took all the food over to the in-laws' house (along with the family), and we had a GREAT day. My in-laws are such pushovers when it comes to the girls too - L said she didn't like turkey, so they made a ham as well. Ha! We had
so much good food, a great time hanging out together, a fabulous nap by myself, watched my FIL put up more Christmas decorations, and are tired but happy. This is how I want to do Thanksgiving every year! Great, great day. :)
