Proud mama moment

At school today, I saw a paper puppy hanging on the art clothesline in the room.  There was only one, and it was the sort that you have to cut out, glue together, and put a lot of work into it.  The teacher told me that it was L's puppy, and she was the only one who didn't lose interest after 3 minutes in cutting out the shapes, gluing them together, and completing the project.  In fact, she spent probably a concentrated 20 minutes on it.  She told me "L has such great concentration - no one else in the class comes close!"  Cue great pride swelling out of my chest at my child's obvious genius.
