My day off

After we went to the Children's Museum yesterday, I dropped the girls off with their grandparents and headed off for a day by myself.  WAHOO!  I started with lunch at Beyond Bread, then paint samples and tile perusing at Home Depot, home for a nap, then played junk on my computer, went out to dinner with the husband at Freddy's, took a luxurious long shower, and then had massive problems trying to get to sleep.  Damn nap.  I laid down around 10pm and didn't fall asleep until almost 12am.  That meant the run I had planned for 4:30am this morning was out the window.  I slept until almost 7am, did a Jillian Michaels DVD workout, showered, dropped off the girls' applications for the charter school nearby off, taught piano lessons, and then got the girls back.  Oh, and I managed to clean up some toys, vacuum, and do a bit of laundry too.  It really was a nice day off, I swear!
