Bowling

I bought a Groupon ages ago for bowling at the bowling alley nearby.  I figured it would be a great winter activity on a weekend when it might be cold and dreary.  Well, here we are in April and we still hadn't used it.  It expires next week, so we decided to do it.  It was all four of us plus the grandparents, and we had a blast!  E is a natural roller - she was scoring 80+ points in both her games from just rolling it down the lane.  L is great at trying to create a crater in the floor of the lane - ball drops and slooooowly makes its way to the pins.  My FIL had a turkey (three strikes in a row), and the rest of us struggled to get through.  I think the girls had it lucky too because they had barriers put up when they played so that their ball didn't go in the gutter!  Nonetheless, we had a great time playing, watching, and hanging out.  I think we'll have to go there again sometime, and next time partake of the games area too!
